DetailsPMC Harvesters Ltd., formerly known as FMC Technologies Ltd., has been producing pea and green bean harvesters since 1970 at its plant in Fakenham, England. Working closely with pea and bean growers and processors, PMC has developed combine harvesters with superior reliability, capacity and efficiency. PMC harvesters (FMC) have been operating in Serbia since the mid-1970s, and have proven to be the best solution for mechanically harvesting pea of low tenderometric value and the highest quality and most reliable harvesting of green beans.
In 1977, the PMC produced the world's first self-propelled pea harvester (FMC 679), which harvests in one pass. In 1975, PMC introduced its 5-threshing system (main threshing machine and 4 satellites), which has been constantly upgraded and today represents the best solution for young pea threshing.
In 1989, the model 979, a self-propelled, high capacity pea harvester, with 6 drive wheels, was introduced. This combine evolved in 1999 into the Model 979-AT (Advanced Technologies), and in 2006 into the Model 979-CT (Controlled Trashing). Since 2014, PMC has selected Serbia and Frikom as the European premiere of the new PMC 1089.
The latest model of the BH 7133 combine is the successor to the GB 7133 combine which had its European and world premiere in 2014 in Serbia. Following the latest global trends in efficiency and safety enhancement, PMC upgraded the previous GB 3300 in 2014.
